This year we had the pleasure of working with 1,290 students in Lane County! During our programs, students learned about earth and life sciences, had the opportunity to grow and taste new fruits and vegetables, and to get out and get active during the school day. From May 23rd – June 14th, 67 community volunteers joined our programs to help serve students a harvest meal from their own garden, up-pot a tomato plant to take home for the summer months and to share their love of schoolgardens! Volunteers contributed over 200 hours of direct support for programs- we couldn’t have done it without you!
